“Develop and engage in the collaborative and social aspects of writing processes”

There were many ways in which we socialized and contributed to each other’s work despite not being together in person and rarely talking verbally.  As mentioned, I benefited greatly from our multi-group collaboration on lab reports (figure 14).  I also took written peer review to heart (figure 22).  Another way in which we socialized, which was neither verbal nor simply through the exchange of documents, was on social media platforms such as Blackboard discussion boards and Discord.  I read comments on outlines of group projects we submitted, and also contributed my own comments to these discussions (figure 15; figure 23).  For technical descriptions, we took “the input of our peers into heavy consideration for both the extensiveness of our descriptions as well as our overall choice” (Ray Neuwirth, 2021).  For the proposal, we collaborated frequently within our groups on Discord, which required a fair bit of delegation (figure 24).
